Only two buttons, ON and SHOCK are required providing straight forward operation. A System Status Ready Indicator flashes to show that the complete system is operational and ready for use. The device automatically runs self check each week. Two parts, one expiration date. The Pad-Pak™ cartridge combines battery and electrode pads with one expiration date to monitor. The cartridge typically has a shelf-life of 3.5 years from date of manufacture offering significant savings over other defibrillators that require separate battery and pad units.

The samaritan® PAD Trainer integrates 8 realistic rescue scenarios for AED training. Supplied with Trainer-Pak™ with rechargeable battery, sample training electrode pads, power supply, carry case, and user manual. The pause button stops the scenario temporarily to enable the trainer to offer additional explanation and support to the class without interruption. The Scenario resumes where it was paused. The rechargeable battery can operate up to 6 hours, or the unit can be operated while plugged in. A Low Battery warning will advise users when the unit should be recharged. An ideal training device.
